Im thinking of giving my 2 razorwings an anti-infantry role (monoscythe missiles, 2 disintegrators and a splinter cannon), any other configurations which are worth it? also, how do you keep them alive after they come in and shoot their first salvo?

The anti-infantry role they can perform is outstanding. The very reason why I got one to include in my army. It really comes down to how much anti tank you require. If you have enough, then 2 fighters for anti-infantry is perfectly fine and pretty awesome for that role. I run mine with the Dark lances still so that I can perform both roles. (I never have enough AT weapons sadly).

Your setup is what I would run. I would add a flickerfield though to give it a small chance to survive against shooting. Other than that try to use terrain to give yourself cover saves. You probably wont be 100% hidden but you should be able to get 50% somewhere. And that's why flickefield is awesome, you can be anywhere and still get it.

Also, always fire your missles when you have the chance!!! Nothing like losing your fighter when it hasn't fired missles! :P

Four monoscythes in and of itself is an excellent anti-infantry role. If you are taking Razors with disintegrators, you are leaving out valuable anti-tank options in your heavy slot. Two darklances gives them excellent killing power vs. everything. If you want disintegrator cannons, take a Ravager with three of them and watch whole Marine squads melt off the table. Also, the splinter cannon is great vs. Marines, but actually can be a hinderance to killing T3 multiwound models like Guard and Eldar HQs and heavy weapon teams because it allows your opponent to allocate ID wounds elsewhere.

However, how do I run my Razorwing models? That's easy: As Voidravens! A S9 AP2 small blast that scatters only 2 inches? Holy crap! Easily worth having to invest more points in missiles, and the AV11 doesn't hurt either when you can't be targeted by meltas unless they are directly underneath you.

How so?

Also, thanks for your comments guys!

Take nightshields. Since meltaguns will have a 6" range targeting you, and they have to draw to hull on models on flying stnads, you can imagine that it causes difficulties when the first 3-4 inches of measurement are vertical.

Pythagoras would disagree. Also, you don't subtract your BS from your voidraven's bombs.

Wobbles, just because you don't first have to measure at right angles doesn't change the fact that even standing right next to it you might still have trouble being in range. As for the Void mine, I am starting to agree with you.
