I've been tinkering with the idea of a SM army based on Samurai. Relic blades where I can fit them

First and foremost I'm looking for something to use as Katana's. Now if I had better modelling skills I could try and shave/cut down regular weapons from bitz, but that appears to be beyond my abilities.

So I've come to the forum community here. Is there any ideas where I could find something suitable on the interwebz?

You could bits order the Skorne Pretorean swords from Privateer Press. For mine I cut on of the dark elf spear tips down the middle and discarded the back, its the one that looks a little like a bottle opener.

I remember seeing a samurai spacemarine army before in a chapter approved annual. The main thing I remember is that he too the standard backpack banner and cut one of the arms off- changing it from a T shape into a samurai style banner like these http://www.google.ie/imgres?imgurl=http://files.turbosquid.com/Preview/Content_2009_07_14__01_08_34/samban.jpgBE09E370-B82E-4FF7-95488F74182F6062.jpgLarge.jpg&imgrefurl=http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php%3Ft%3D196921&h=354&w=400&sz=35&tbnid=s6VTeWsWV3rdsM:&tbnh=110&tbnw=124&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsamurai%2Bbanner%26tbm%3Disch%26tbo%3 Du&zoom=1&q=samurai+banner&usg=__5wSg_TSpFh9NsVYVSZRMVibJyB0=&sa=X&ei=fmH7TYfAJY6AhQeHzsjMBw&ved=0CDEQ9QEwAw

for katanas how about sliceing the power swords down the middle line? it would make it a lot thinner? or possible pointy strips of plasticard?

how about SM ninja scouts? sniper blowpipes anyone? they could be made with a little GS and some plastic rod?!

oh and why not hunt about for some 1/35th scale samurai ? im sure the local model plane shop should have a few?!
