When the new GK rules came I decided to use them to do an Adeptus Mechanicus army…

His waist has been filled out, which reduced his "I'm a Necron" flavour.

I know that the paintwork doesnt look all that good, some of that is due to suboptimal lighting.

Particularly like the Chimera- where did you get the turret?

Remeber admech have a lot of robes. Have you seen these minis by blight wheel? http://blightwheelminiatures.vendder.com/blight-wheel-brotherhood

actually they're just out of stock but they're VERY admech. I think the parts would go a long way if you only used a bit on each GW mini. That said I've seen a review whic said some of the mechandrites are very fragile.

The Chimera turrets are made from parts of GWs Manufactorum, plasticcard, sprues and green stuff.

My Coteaz just got his robes on (green stuff)

One of the nicest AdMech count as armies I've seen. Great work, can't wait to see how it all turns out.

Great stuff! I considered making a Henchman army to fight alongside my Ad-Mech Counts as Space Marines (http://www.lounge.belloflostsouls.net/showthread.php?t=7987), but real life got in the way...

Yours are beautiful though! I think I need to get my hands on a Necron box, your techpriests look lovely...

Your army is off to a great start, do you plan on drilling out your gun barrels? Will keep an eye on this to see how the rest come out. Great work. BA83

Your Coteaz stand-in is fantastically done. Can't wait to see more of the army!

That chimera is amazing, absolutley well done. How useful is the furioso box eh? so many parts! I made two dreadnoughts from that box (the legs of a sentinel helped though).

That's a really funky paint scheme, and it really pulls together all of the force. I particularly love the Coteaz, the paint really pulls it all together and makes all the bits look like they belong like that.

But the Grey Knights could have been converted more? They're nicely painted, but they just look like red coloured Grey Knights, not like Adeptus Mechanicus creations? Which is a pity, next to all your great conversions. I mean, when you look closely at them you can see all the bionics and the Mechanicus shoulder and chest plates. But the initial glance just takes in the Grey Knight helmets and weapons and screams "Grey Knights"! I guess that could be a good thing, there are certainly no WYSIWYG issues? But yes. Maybe different heads (Necrons? bionic? non-GW?) would have helped make them look non-Grey-Knighty? Or Necron chests, like Coteaz?

Awesome army man, The cult of the machine god thanks your for your service, did you ever think to use the dark angels bodies as the PAGK? I mean they already have the robes for you.
