Very nice, did you sculpt the extra boneswords on your own?

Thanks, yep the swords are turning out to be a right pain to get the way i want. Same with all the spiky bits and claws, just haven't found a consistent method to make them yet.

Spikes and small details are pretty easy to carve out of Citadel Finecast resin. You know the sprues where the new minis come? Try carving it.

A year in a half to make, that's some serious devotion! It's an amazing sculpt and you should keep this bad boy over the official model!

Did you just pure greenstuff over a wire armature, and plasticard for the horns and blades?

For painting, I would keep the swords the same colour as the rest of the claws/horns/bone bits. Dark green may not make the swords pop out as much.

Here is a pic showing the build-up of structural layers.
Wire armature, then bulked out with milliput, finally greenstuff details.
The swords are plasicard with milliput to stiffen it and greenstuff details.

Those two years defiantly spawned a unique piece. You don't see many 100% scratch builds. Also glad you went with the bone colour over the green in the end when it came to the bonesabres. The green just didnt stand out.
