secondary color (i think) will be a midnight blue, almost to the point of appearing black. Highlights for the guns and blades would probably be gunmetal grey.

both the edges and airbrushing masks that i'm creating will be in red.

Broke out the compressor, hooked it up and just had a blast priming the venom.

update time!

picked up a razorwing about a week ago, and found out it is one of the fastest kits to go together.

oh and.. the canopy was missing.

Second color is on now. I chose gunmetal for the blades and cockpits, and my god, it looks great with the red.

And the duke.

this guy was pretty easy to create. I built the left blade by cutting the venom blade in half and replacing it with the jagged bayonets for the splinter rifles. The right blade was built using the arm holding a knife in reverse, cutting another venom blade at the hilt and the handle off the stock arm, then splicing the pieces together.

the army's gone from 500 to about 1500 pts now. Once I have another pack of hellions turned beastmasters, it'll be at 1650.


Edit: I changed the Duke model a little bit, I wasn't really happy with the overall pose.
