Long time reader, first posting. Just thought some of y'all might enjoy this bomma I've built. More pics of it being built are over on the Waaagh! forum under my name of WaaaghBoss Grimgog if anyone is interested.

You people who scratch build stuff and make it look that good amaze me every single time I see it.

It stems from being an ork player. For years GW ignored us and we had to make do with 'found' items for making most of our models.

Oh yeah, no doubt. Still amazing to see. Very nice job on it, like the paint job too.

These are just incredible, What did you make them out of?

Thanks BrokenWing.

@ tactica: Two of the fighta-bommas are kitbashed A-10 Warthogs, the third is a B-25 Mitchell. The Bomma is a PVC core with all kinds of crap glued on in various layers (more or less).

tbh, most of the scratch built ork stuff ive seen is better than some of the GW models anyway, it looks so much more orky. I once saw someone who took a Mr potatoe head and made a stompah out of it, in fact ill link it for epic awesomeness.

To be honest I think between orks and tyranids you have an endless list of creative potential for modelling and some of the epid things they can do. Keep on being awesome.

Nice work, the paintjobs especially. I'd possibly say the bomma is a little on the small side (or the fightabommas are a little large) but that might just be me. That said, I've never been particularly good at getting the scale right on scratchbuilds lol. I've built a couple of fighta bommas from an a10 warthog and a lancaster bommer, but they aren't quite as orky as yours... yet ;)

Thanks for the positive comments all.

Yeah, my fightabommas are a little large, but the bomma is definitely bulkier. I have a LooftWaaaghe in progress, with the Deff Skwadrun above, a handfull of converted deffkoptas (I removed the rotors and gave them stub wings and jets, making them look like jetbikes)...

an ork rokk, and an Orksprey (it's a warkopta from IA:8 that looks like a V-22)...
