40k Team Tournament Rules question

Black Templars (haha, I know, right?) rule Abhor the Witch says that Black Templars cannot be fieled as allies or using allies with psychic powers other than Grey Knights. Now, I take that to mean this specifically refers to the Allies rules in the older Daemonhunter and Witchhunter codices. Would this apply to separate team lists, such as Black Templars with Blood Angels using a Librarian?

You could team Black Templars with Abhor the Witch with Eldrad, if you wanted to. Though I think he'd be wise to not "come talk to the Captain in the Rhino"....
