Dark Angels Sprue Question

HAving seen the recent thread on Fallen (sorry can't remember poster to credit you) I am thinking of shamelessly ripping off for some fallen to act as Fabius Bile's upgraded nasties. I sort of like the cloaks matching his cloak of skin.

Question is, can any DA players tell me the best way to get 10 cloaked fellas? On GW web it looks like 2 x uprade packs will give me 10. For some reason I can't fathom the veterans seem to be £15, the upgrade sprue £8-ish - but - the confusing thing is the upgrade sprue has 5 walking figures on - so why would anyone ever buy the veterans pack?

Anyhow, you are correct, 2 upgrade packs gets you 10 marines (it used to be 10 for 1 upgrade pack!), the only thing that the veteran squad comes with is the tactical command sprue for special weapons and the missile launcher.

The more costly pack has everything in it, including the Tactical upgrade/command sprue and bases.

The cheaper option lacks the bases and the Tactical upgrade sprue.

You are correct, the veteran box is currently massively overpriced for the extras you get, but buy now because the upgrade sprue is about to get a 25% price hike.
