Hi there!

Firstly, well done on such a brilliant paint job, you can tell it was a labour of love! And what rods/tubes did you use on the flying stand? I'm looking to do the same with mine, but I've no idea how to go about it.

Michaels craft store (chain)

Clockfaces... and wooden dowels. Used a low speed drill press and used 3 dowels

I would invest in some 3/8th clear acrylic rod, you can get it on ebay pretty cheap.

about 9.50 for 6 feet. Looks good and is easy to work with if you have a hobby saw or the equivalent.

Nifty paint jobs man, looks nice. Maybe a bit lacking in the highlighting and weathering department but good-looking nonetheless.
