Scout Bikers

Can a scout biker sergeant be given an astartes grenade launcher? I was thinking about fielding 30 of these guys and wondering how to set up my combat squads.

The codex lists the sergeant upgrades seperate from "biker" upgrades, so it appears no.

Kinda what I figured, but the sergeant has "biker" in his name too so it's not really clear. Although they didn't use the word "any" with regards to the astartes launchers so that's probably the key clue.

unfortunatly id also say no on this if you look at the rest of the codexs entries they follow the same pattern the assault marines are a good example of this

As previous people have observed, the sergeant and his wargear options are regarded seperately, the rest of the squad are "bikers" and he a "biker sergeant". Also don't forget a maximum of 3 bikers can be upgraded to have the grenade launcher
