Leman Russ Ragnarok pattern

Hi

I felt that i wanted something different for my 2 russes, and both the macharius and the red alert mammoth tank gave me inspiration.

Its still a very much WIP.

Edit: totally forgot that there already were a LR pattern called Ragnarok, guess ill rename my to LR Mammoth or something like that then. And yes it is basically a reversed russ inspired from the Rev Russ guide here on BOLS. Added pictures of the rear.

Erm, isn't the 'ragnarok' pattern tank just a 40k'd KV-2?

Chimera hull, big box turret, etc?

I mean, sure, 40k tanks have redonkulous guns on them and all, but that's just taking the piss.

i like it, it looks like a simple yet effectiveconversion. btw could you put picks f the tanks rear up so i can see how its done please???

Make sure you hollow out the turret, and maybe put a little more detail on the very flat boring front

Yes ofc, the tank is only 50% complete.

I need to pin the guns into place and so on. I need to make a alot of rivets to add and alot of other small cosmetic work.

is there a special rule that states; After firing the cannon, remove the turret.? cause i could see the recoil tearing that turret off the hull... just sayin.:D:D

Yeah actual real life physics my ruin the day for the crew.

But who cares about physics in a world where daemons appear from nowhere and orks speak space english :rolleyes:

I like the hull going backwards look - but not the side panels. They are designed so the tracks have clearance to climb ground, hence you need a slope. As I would never sacrificie combat functionality to form, I'd suggest swap the trak units, jkeep the hull that way.

Respect the turret, hope its going to be red...

back looks deceptively effective for the simplicity, great nonetheless, i may infact reverse my leman now...
