okay so i thought i had an idea on what i wanted but now i am completely confused. I have yet to play a game of warhammer and am stilling reading the rule book, its hard to keep reading with out getting in there and trying to play. I am posting the like that shows what killzone rules are and what my league is going to have for rules alot of it doesn't make all that much sense to me yet but if theres anyone willing to build me a list of 250 points that fit my league i would be so grateful. I just need to get something going so i can finish painting and building before I run out of time. I am feeling very over whiled with this right now, so thank you for taking the time and thanks a ton for helping me out so far! I am looking for a list for I-Guard as thats what I have choose to play.

I have to admit this sounds... quite confusing, this speaking as someone who's been playing Warhammer for a couple of years now! :p

It's a fairly complex rule set, but it seems manageable. What army are you playing, and what kind of units would you like to have in your killzone force?

Also, what play style sounds good? Do you want to play an aggressive rush-up-and-assault style army, a shooting army, a very mobile army, etc?

Seems like a way to have more Necromunda style games in current 40K.
Some of the wording needs help (almost seems to confuse Psycher Battle Squads and Sanctioned Psychers)
"No Deep Strike" takes out lots of builds around here, and strategies in general.

It just doesn't seem "finished", if that makes sense.

Killzone is really fun to play, but I don't know that I'd play it as my first introduction to 40k, as there are lots of exceptions....

No deep strike eh? I may have to try out this ruleset just to see how my daemons play when they are deploying normally rather than deep striking. I like the idea of no mishaps!

Well, here's a quick list as an idea if you're going to be building a "shooty" Guard force. If you don't like the idea of a the psyker, pile on the veterans, and swap out the veteran weapons as you find models for them. Keep in mind there's a max of 5 special/heavy weapons allowed, 2 of which can be heavy weapons. Crack Shot and Medipack upgrades seem like solid picks to me.

Scout Sentinel
Crack Shot - 40 points

Primaris Psyker
Medipack
Crack Shot - 85 points

Veteran
Meltagun
Crack Shot
Team Leader - 22 points

Veteran
Grenade Launcher
Crack Shot - 17 points

Veteran
Heavy Flamer
Crack Shot
Hard to Kill - 40 points

Veteran Weapons Team
Missile Launcher
Suspensors
Crack Shot - 44 points

Yeah, looks like you're right. The Guard codex is really lacking in variety for killzone, you can choose between Storm Troopers, Veterans and regular ol' Guard, all of which basically work out to the same thing. Psyker Battle Squad is useless as individuals, Ogryns have too many wounds, and you're only allowed one Walker. You could replace the Psyker with a couple of basic Stormtroopers for their hot-shot lasguns, or pay for the Behemoth theme and go with an Ogryn-based force.

okay I went into the store today. where the rules talk about IG the bottom part is saying that you can only have a max of these, like only one Sanctioned Psyker or say one Storm Trooper Sergeant
