Name that figure?

I was recently brought a load of figures by a friend who found them cheap and thought they were bringing me warhammer.

I have never seen any figures like them before.

Anyone seen anything like them?

They came with 1 of the unhelmeted figure with pistol for each 9 of the helmed riflemen, and they are all on 6 sided slota bases.

The base plastic also seems a lot higher gloss than anything GW has done.

Those are from EM-4. I think they were originally from Grenadier miniatures as well.

Not sure what company but I think they were called Space Rangers, mid 90's vintage.

eM-4 "Space Rangers".

Early/mid 90s release. Similar in assembly to the clip together GW Space Crusade plastic marines.
Similar options to them, too. Dated compared to current GW plastics - but it illustrates how much GW have spent in order to get there (as Grenadier no longer exist).
Also shows that GW were not the only "slotta base" game maker in town back then (and still aren't).
They are still available from eM-4 (who also have a lot of the older Grenadier metals sculpts).
