Grey Knights painted 4-2 to 4-25

Not a lot of work done this month, I painted them when I felt the urge to paint. I apologize for the lower quality pics it's an older camera. I followed the same theme as the land raider, rhino, and venerable dread I posted a while back, once I get roughly 2000-2500 points painted up I'll repost them all in one big pic and post pics of my older crappily painted grey knights I used to use.

Very nice so far, how did you go about making the psyrifleman dread?

Yeah I see you hate painting those damn force weapons as well. I found I can paint the model to a very high standard.. but then I hit the sword and it looks like a 5th grade got ahold ot it. I really wanted to do what they did on the box art.. but after F'ing around with it a couple hours I just gave up.

That and while the models are neat.. the book kinda blows. I mean I love the concept, but the cost per marine is just nuts.

I got the basic dreadnaught kit and then ordered the aegis defenseline gun off of bitz barn, I took the barrels and the ammo bits and glued them onto the dread arms.

Yea I hate trying to do the weapons, I'm absolute crap at trying to do the lightning effects and whatnot that I've seen people do so for now I'm just copying what I did with my old metal grey knights I had and paint their weapons red. Hopefully once I get better I'll redo the weapons to have more complete looking models but for now the red and the halfassed attempt at lightning will do.
