Dusk Raiders WIP

First and foremost, I'm not going to do a completely pre-heresy style power armour army. Mainly I'm just using the paint scheme. If I do make some sort of fluff for a post-heresy Dusk Raiders it would probably be like they used Garro as a genetic template to found a 2nd Dusk Raiders chapter, I don't think it's the first time a chapter has been re-created. But anyway, here is a picture of the first test marine (note very WIP) I've only painted the armour and plan to give it another go cause I didn't like the way the white turned out.

Thanks :D I'm excited to see these guys finished as well. I will be trying my hand at making a custom decal sheet using the Dusk Raiders chapter badge found on http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Dusk_Raiders

did a quick wash on the white areas and a red was on the arms. The wash helped soften the white a little bit and I think it looks a lot better. However subtle it is.

I'm focusing on finding a good "un-painted" power armour color right now more then anything.

Got a shadow box jury rigged on my painting table and I took a few shots of the first Sternguard Vet and the 2nd one I started working on today. Hope you guys like it :D
