simple question guys, do you spawn termagaunts every turn hoping not to roll doubles or wait till you know your in range to assault your opponent then spawn the guants? im curious to know how others use the tervigon and what upgrades and physic powers they give them

depends on mission
CC and SG you do well to have as many troops as possible so as a general rule every turn
in An they can prove easy kill points so go easy on spawning
of course whats going on during game and what you opponent is trying to pull will have an effect on what is wise to do.

Well, as a rule I generally wait until unloading the gaunts, regardless of mission. The tiny gaunt broods often get shot off the table in one turn, and I roll poorly (I'm lucky if I can roll to generate gaunts twice in a game), in addition to not having enough gaunts to afford the luxury of generating them every turn.
As for upgrades, catalyst is a requirement, along with toxin sacs. I don't usually need the adrenal glands, but if I have 5 spare points somehow I pay for scything talons.
