hello fellow Eldar players

I have a 2000 pt eldar army in the works and I cant decide whether I want for my third heavy support choice a nightspinner or a falcon.

I would like the anti infantry capabilities of the falcon but the falcon is also a transport which means I could drop one wave serpent from my army and use it instead.

I don't have the issue of WD where they added the nightspinner so I forget whether or not it was a transport or not

would like some help with my decision. thanks

Could you post your list? It pretty much comes down to what your army needs more.

It's not ( a transport). I'm painting one up at the moment. So I hope it's worth it

I have a list close to yours at 2k pts. I would take falcon (almost no upgrades) for the dragons, dropping WS. Then you can buff up the jet bike squad which will make it far more useful numbers.

That might help a bit

You have enough anti-infantry IMHO, so I'd go for the Falcon.

alright Ill give the falcon a go any suggestions as to what weapons/upgrades I should put on it

Well, Spirit Stones are almost a must. Holo-fields are also useful, but note that they are expensive. The secondary weapon you have to buy, I'd go for a weapon against high-armor target, AKA Bright Lance or EML. That's because you are light on anti-tank weaponry. Otherwise go for the Shuriken Cannon to save points.

thanks for the input I will definitely try out the falcon with those upgrades. as far as the weapon I have to purchase I'm torn between the BL and the EML. EML has the same range as the pulse laser which is a plus. but the BL rolls against any armor above 12 as 12 which is also nice. any suggestions?

Basically ask yourself this: do you think you'll have to face Land Raiders in your local group, or in your meta? If the answer is yes, get the BL. Otherwise, the EML.
