I admit i am a huge fan of Space Marine Mech.. So when BA 5ed dex came out it was an offer that i couldnt refuse.
Here my 1750 list..
HQ: Libarian (Shield and Sword of Sanguinius)
Elite:
Furioso Libarian Dreadnought( Wings of Sanguinius and Blood Lance)
Troop:
10 Men Jump Pack Assault Squad with 2 Meltagun and 1 Infernus Pistol
2 x 5 Men No Jump Pack Assault Squad with 1 Meltagun
Dedicated Transport: Razorback with Lascannon and Twinlinked Plasmagun
Fast Attack
2 x Assault Cannnon and Heavy Bolter Sponson Baal Predator
1 X Flame Storm Baal Predator with Dozer blade
Heavy Support
2 x Predator Annilator ( Twin-linked Lascannon and Lascannon sponson)
1 X Vindicator
So far been peforming pretty well with this list.. The 1st impression people see with this list is "Woah that alot of tanks" or " Where your troops?". Generally excel in the Long-Mid range combat as i got a alot of high Str weapons and good balance of anti armor and anti infantry weapons.
So basically the common strategy is to castle up.. let my enemy come to me as i chew them up while my Jump Pack Assault Squad + outflanking Flamestorm Baal harasses his line.
Libarian is more for the 5+ shield and psyhood.. as i got this option to fire and gain some kind of cover save. While my Furioso Libarian Dreadnought more to close combat and hood.
