Trying to come up with a dark blue-gray color. So far I've tried a 2:1 mix of VMC Steel Grey and Ultramarine but it came out sky blue. My Next try is going to be prob a 2:1 mix of VMC Steel Grey VMC Black. Anyone had any thoughts or experience with getting a nice dark blue-grey color? Trying to paint a SM in the Brotherhood of a Thousand color scheme.

I know its a foundation paint...but Necron Abyss is very dark.

Or yeah, Fenris grey with some Charadon granite?

This might take some work but...

Get the RGB Hex color of the blue in that image. Then use a chart like this one http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/Paint_Range_Compatibility_Chart to figure out the closest color (the key is the hex translation in the last column).

EDIT: looks like it's more Shadow Grey, then add a touch of something green-blue to the mix.
