Grot Army (pic heavy)

An Ork army i have been working on for a while. Mostly consists of grots (hopefully going to be 100% grots in the future) except a few nobs and other oddboys. The Grots with officer caps are meant to be counts as runtherds. For a warboss/bigmek the runt bot fits that role pretty well, could even be Ghazghkull for that matter.

The grots, those with russian helmets and coats are from micro art studios. They were really fun to paint.

Fantastic work. Don't think there's a single model there I don't like. I'm also a big FW fan, tho more the kopta end of the spectrum. Love your Grot tanks tho, especially the mega tank. Keep up the good work :)

Really nice stuff man. It's hard to pick out a favorite, but for me it was the mad max truck. The second favorite is the grot tank with the Zap gun. The painting on the gun is just so nice I have no idea how you did it.

I agree with this 100%.

You should see if you can't find a way to convert some mega armour so that it has a tiny grot-sized 'cockpit' or something...or a harness - like a Grot Dreadknight! Only instead of making a Grey Knight as powerful as a Daemon, it makes a Grot as powerful as a Meganob!

Hmm, got to try making some of these "MEGAGROTZ", sounds interesting. I'll see what I can do with some meganobz later, maybe something similar to the runt bot but perhaps smaller.

It's hard to say without seeing the models in-person to get a better feel for them, but what if you took a model like your existing Meganob (it looks like he has no flesh showing except for his head?) and replaced the Ork's head with a Grot sitting in some sort of control chair (like the chair is built into the metal 'jaw' on the armour)? :)

Pure awesome! I love your models and the paint jobs are very nice. I've been meaning to pick up some of those MicroArt grot bits for my gretchin revolutionary mob.

I love the conversion of the mega armor nobz into mega grotz.
