Hello all, little question I am sure has been asked before.

Are psychic powers per turn referring to player turns or game turns?

Why cant GW use language that is more concise, like American? Silly Brits, always making stuff so confusing. I think they do it cuz they love to argue, but who knows?

Player turn. See page 9 in the rulebook.

However most psychic powers state that they are restricted to a certain phase in the model's turn. Only a few powers (warptime, Sanguine Sword, Force Weapons, etc) can be used in the opponents turn. Be careful what shenanigans you try to think up.

well we do like to argue. and it's our language so we'll do what we want with it. :p

the rule book states that any reference to the word turn means player turn not game turn so i would go with the psychic powers being able to be used every player turn.

however you would not be able to use powers restricted to the psykers movement, shooting or assault phases.

I'm all Brit on my mothers side, so I inherited the love of arguing as well. Is that why I love this damn game so much?

By more concise do you mean 'horrifically mangled, dumbed down and spelt incorrectly? :D

Seriously though, i think it's just because GW employees can't proof read their work properly. Every month I find several spelling and grammatical errors in WD and it drives me crazy. God know what they pay their editor for.

To answer your question, psychic/magic powers in all GW game variants clearly state if they extend into or can be used in an opponents turn. If it doesn't, you can't.

By dumbed down do you mean easily understood? Then yes!;)

I agree, editors would be nice. I could do that job, even if I do only speak American!
