Converted Gundam into Eldar Revenant Titan

So $70 for the whole thing. Now I need to paint it.

whilst the head looks nice it needs some work in the body/legs/arms department
possibly buy a Warwalker or some eldar bitz to eldar it (aka spirit stones, raised runes made of plasticard, possibly plasticard armour plates) then with a good paint job it could be really nice!

For me I think it looks a little on the chunky-side for Eldar, but still by far the best non-FW revenant I've seen.

Don't know if you have painted that kind of shiny, kids-toy-plastic before, but it can be an absolute pain in the unmentionables. I'd suggest roughing up the surface slightly with some fine grade sandpaper and/or using a good car primer before before undercoating it with a GW primer, if that was your plan to use.

I also agree with fuzzbucket about the spirit stones and runes.

Sazabi isn't the suit I'd have used. The Enact from Gundam 00 is pretty leggy, with lots of the organic curves that characterize the Eldar.

Granted, I'm not sure what scale you used. How big is a Revenent Titan, again?

It is a good 13" tall. I am very unfamiliar with Gundam. I just picked one from a jap online store. The one there does look more eldarish.

Then again, I don't really like the FW Rev Titan at all. It looks goofy to me. I kinda like my beefy Irrevent Titan.

I am nicknaming him "Rev".

I might do some runes, crystals, etc. I am not trying to win any awaards, and I don't want to screw up what I have by trying to do too much.

Thanks for the typ on the paint. I was going to rub it down with alcohol to prep the surface.

I agree that it isn't elder-ish enough. I think it's mainly in the legs. They're just too bulky. The head is pretty sweet. Is that a rapid prototype (http://www.realizeinc.com/) plastic piece? If not, where did you get it from?

it is the turret from a new fire prism. I got a Warp Hunter, and it comes with the Fire Prism kit.
