Hiya
Had a great game the other day, but this question came up.
I'm not familiar with the Eversor, so when I found that he could assault 12" I thought my Obliterators on the hill were gonna cop it. He had to charge up the hill (difficult terrain)
The rules for his assault said that he rolls two dice and then doubles the number on the DICE. So we say ok thats a 3 and a 4 so thats 7 x2 = 14" Successful charge. Hang on!!
So we look at the rule and it says DICE. Hmmm
So the Eversor actually can charge up to 24" as long as its through cover!
When we finished laughing we just chose one DIE, as you would when making a difficult terrain roll and doubled that. 4 x 2 = 8" Failed charge.
I'm assuming we did the right thing.
(Of course my Obliterators were then tied up in combat by a Deathcult assassin for four rounds of combat!)
