Can Terminators assault after firing a weapon with a Heavy Profile, or are they limited to assault weapons?

I think relentless is part of the rules for terminator armour instead of specific to any type of terminator.

That is correct. Chaos Terminators do not have Relentless. They do have specific wording that has the same effect on page 17 under "Terminator Armour".

Chaos termies do not have it. the only appreciable difference is that they cannot move and fire their bolters at 24", IIRC.
