Leader of the pack

I wanted to know if Leader of the Pack also works with named hero's.

I noticed that Logan and Njal both have Saga of Majesty but I have seen people play both of them in a list. Wanted to know if maybe I missed something somewhere or if it can not be done.

P.S. I wanna take Logan and Bjorn :P

No, it specifically says that named characters are excluded from this rule. You could even field Logan, Bjorn and a Wolf Lord with Majesty.

edit: okay, the codex doesn't say it that I can find, but I'm like 90% certain that it was in a FAQ.

The codex does say it.

Strangely enough it is on the page with the rules for Sagas (64). It is in the second paragraph (right after the tripple-wolfhead-icon).

The idea was that they wanted you to take unique and flavored characters so no sagas were to be repeated but special characters are fleshed out enough it's not really a problem.

Just imagine if there were 4x wolf guard battle leaders with saga of the hunter. Give ALL long fangs a 3+ cover save? Give 3 sets of TWC a 3+ cover save? 3 sets of WGBLs outflanking with scouts? It gets nasty.
