Hey guys

Please see the middle of 3 tanks - ultramrine colours. I am trying to identify the model. It has a bulging out front piece, and twin Assault cannon turret, but with a marine gunner attached.

Thought it may be an old immolator converted to a razorback, what do you think?

Maybe like this ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250781177268&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

to me it seems to be an old Rhino, with custom extra armor (like FW SPACED ARMOR) and an old immolator turret monted with assault cannon.

Thanks to Alvena for link and suggestion. Its wierd because the cannons are metal, the gun shield is not the same as the immolator.

The spaced armour has some embossed details so doesn't seem to be scratch.

Most strange.

I can not see any of the linked pics, but is it perhaps just an old razorback? before the new one there was a hybrid metal-plastik-kit with a space marine gunner behind a big gun shield. And there was metal armor for the old rhino from games workshop too.

Am I the only person here old enough to know this models?:eek::confused:

Another of my hobbies is collecting vintage model kits. The side armor plates look very much like they came from an old Monogram 1/32 scale Panzer or Sturmgeschutz.

Yes there was a metal immolator as I used to own one, it was built for the original rhino not the current one. That is definitely what it is and those are definitely the metal add on armour on the the sides.

@ Sebi it is not this one although it may be the gunner.

@ Necron - they are similar but not the same.

@ Mr Butt Whisker it is not metal reinforced armour, it is plastic!

@ fuzzy it is not that one. The turret ring is the same as the 1st immolator kit. The marine gunner is probably the same as the razorback. The turret shield is metal, but does not have a vision slit like the immolator. the Assault Cannons are alo metal, i do not recognise from where, they fit the shield exactly and don't extend very far back - so no breech and the ejection ports are half obscured.

(this is now in my posssession, I will take a picture of the parts and post to solve this mystery.)

Definitely the metal Immolator, just compared it to the '98 catalog.
