So have you guys got any good mainstream warhammer references. Such as in films or TV.
I only bring this up, as watching a episode of lead balloon (british comedy with jack dee, done on the bbc) in which a friends recomended Electrician was found on the internet playing warhammer.

Even if a couple of years old its glad to see warhammer is known by at least the bbc :)

Red Dwarf Back To Earth. There's a scene in a shop where the shop owner mentions "your game of Warhammer" on the telephone. Though Red Dwarf is an "alternative" cult comedy, so I don't know how mainstream it is.

Then there was thiis joke on The Onion a few years ago:

Packers Terminators....woooo (probably the NFC reaction the the Col...Ultramarines.)
Someone told me there was a reference on Saturday Night Live once, but that the joke bombed.

In Peep Show Mark once thought "I'm cancelling you out of shame, like my subscription to white dwarf" when thinking about his friendship with gerard. (for those of you who haven't seen the show, 1. you can hear the protaganists thoughts and inner monologue 2. its utterly brilliant.

There's some tau at about 0:11 in this video by the australian dance band the presets. It's an ok song but they're a great band.

The video for "Land of Confusion" by Disturbed starts out with what can only be a rhino. edit...its more of a long barreled vindicator. It's about 18 seconds in.

Yes, I know it's a remake lol.

In the music business you can find some gems.
- The Pixies in their album Bossanova (not sure?) leaflet, you get some Epic 40000 minis.
- EMF : one of the guys was often sporting GW Tee shirts. I remember a Ratspike one in "Unbelievable" if my memory serves me well.

Old school references !

There was a kids tv show in the uk in which the dad had a large Ultramarines collection and was always seem to be painting them in every scene he appears. It was on CITV when that was on ITV in the afternoons but i can't remember its name. Sorry.

There was an episode of Lewis (ITV detective show based in Oxford) which featured a strange kid who had a huge wargaming room in his dad's garage. It was GW models, but they made up all the terminology for different armies and so on. Lewis's assistant Hathaway was revealed to be a fan of wargaming.

An episode of Highlander the TV series had a shot of a GW store in the background of one scene.
