This was my first attempt some time ago, haven't tried it sense. I realize now that my highlights are somewhat inconsistent. I didn't have a good static light source so I plan to re paint the NNM. But please leave thoughts and comments! :D

I'm not a huge fan of NMM to begin with (its not you, its me) but I think you've done a solid job for a first time. If anything, I think your highs could benefit from a little smoother transition into the bronze color. Perhaps a glaze of the bronze color overtop of the white, then a rehighlight?

Yea I agree, I feel like some areas turned out much better than others on this model lol. for example the front leg armor turned out pretty good but then the pauldrons look kinda choppy. I feel like the best area of NMM on the model is the bolter on the Claw of Horus.

Completely agree. The bolter looks great. I imagine it's easier to get a good effect on smaller areas than it is on larger ones. Again, I think it looks good. I also really like your skin tone for Abbadon... Looks quite nice.

Thank you kindly :) this was a conversion I had been planning and working on when the plastic Termi Lord was released. I really thinkg If I were to strip him down and remove the paint and start over I could do better. I think I wanna remove the loincloth though.

Like the model, much better than I could paint, only slight criticism is on the last picture the black around the neck guard (or whatever it is) looks a bit plain but otherwise great

try to blend it a wee bit smoother- the shoulder is excellent - the lighting is perfectly positioned- but could use a bit more blending, the claw needs a wee bit of work

Here is a 2nd attempt, it isn't a 40k model though
