Why doesn't Davian Thule get corrupted?

I was playing the DOW2 game and noticed squad members get corrupted over time, but Thule doesn't. Does this mean dreadnoughts aren't vulnerable to corruption? How do Chaos dreadnoughts come about then?

Maybe he's just incorruptible, like Garro or the Grey Knights. Some people just don't listen to Chaos.

To be honest it's a video game and you don't need to read too much into the details. There are a lot of things in 40k that don't make sense or contradict itself.
