I am looking to buy some discounted GW models. I see the Dice Bucket ad on this website, but what are some others. I dont like the local GW store or their prices.

Try these great, reputable discounters with budget flat-rate shipping:

http://www.thewarstore.com/
Keep in mind, however, that if you don't support local stores they won't stay around. Personally, I like having a GW store less than 15 minutes from home. I also use mail order discounters at times throughout the year to save money, but I also buy a number of items throughout the year at the local store. Mail order's only worth it for multiple items that make the shipping fee and the wait worthwhile, so if I just want one of this or that sporadically during the year, incidentals like paint and paint brushes, direct only items, I support my local store with those convenience purchases.

i still support my local store with those kind of purchases but i cant see spending 50 dollars for a ravager or 35 dollars for a incubi, i used to work at gw so i know the company behind the models all to well and the prices have gotten way out of hand. by the way what part of md are you from?

The community is good and the store operator is excellent which is not a coincidence. The community there was poor till we got the current manager who has really made it grow. He makes people want to come back to the store and he's a good and helpful salesman so the store is doing well. It's win-win for GW and the customers there. We're still trying to get a solid hobby night going on Thursday nights, so if you like to get your models painted come on down!

nice. i live 15 minutes from the Avenue (White Marsh) store. MD has a bunch of GW stores it seems like, as there is one in Arundel Mills Mall (until they leave) and I think one in timonium/towson as well. There was Glen Burnie Battle Bunker, but I believe that closed recently.
My pet peeve with GW stores is the staff jump on you and ride you through the store the minute yu walk in. I could see if i was some homer looking lost, but when I go in, I know what I want, I head right for it. And to top it all off, you JUST saw me in the store yesterday, asked me the same 5 questions, and I frequent regularly, so you should know me, if only by my face hehe.
I buy a lot from Alliance as a friend gets a discount for me, or Chuck's Comics on Eastern avenue. GW should offer discount cards. $20 for the card gets you 10% off at the store for 1 year. That would get me buying more minis at GW store.

I regularly buy from thewarstore.com for large orders or high cost models.
They have great customer service and a flat shipping rate.
I do buy from my local store as much as possible (they offer 10% discount to military) as we have no GW stores here in San Diego, CA. I play there and want to help ensure they can stay open.

For those who like Ebay (ME!!!), I purchase my GW Crack from MacPac51 (Search by seller name) and sometimes Discount Games Inc.
What I like about MacPac51 is that its just a little less than 20% off, but all GW products have free shipping. So, if you are buying just one or two things it makes it more worthwhile rather than buying 20% off from the Warstore and then paying $5.95 for shipping.
MacPac is also the most affordable for Warmachine (35.00 shipped for a Warmachine Battle Box!)
Discount Games seems hit or miss, but I believe the last thing I got from them was a set of the current Ork Bikers for $30.00 shipped instead of the normlal 41.25.
Have fun shopping!

eBay is my new friend also. I often snag things at a fracton of their normal pricing. Trading is also a good way to supplement and stretch one's hobby dollars. The War Store and Spikey Bitz are also good online discounters with cheap flat shipping.
What I like about MacPac51They appear to be out of business. I haven't seen anything listed by that seller in weeks. I used to buy a lot of stuff from them when they did auction style selling, but not since they went to fixed pricing. If the discount on eBay gets within about 20% of list price I'll go to Spikey Bitz or The War Store or just buy it at my local store. I use eBay to look for deeper discounts and often find them. Last year I got Land Raiders for $25 to $30 new in box three times, today I got Chaos Terminators new in box for about 50% off.

I used to support my GW store all the time, until they shut it down, for being to far out of the way... and probably cause the planned on opening that large store in Nashville. I was on good enough terms with one of the guys, to know how they were doing on a day to day financially so I know that wasn't the issue.
Rant over, but Ebay is my freend, normally free shipping on most of the products, just watch out and dont confuse a good deal with a good deal on the products with ridicously high shipping.

Another place is miniaturemarket.com they sell GW at 25% off, free shipping with orders over $75 iirc. They had an excel spreadsheet but sometime between January and now they've taken it down.

Hard to make any money as a retailer on eBay with the Constant fee hikes. We use to sell all boxes over 40.00 on eBay but the fees were killing profit and people expect the stuff in 3 days not always possible and lots of fraud on eBay. Especially with overseas buyers.May explain why MacPac got out
