Greetings and salutations, my friends -
I'm Phill, I go by halon on most social/blog/forum type things, and I'm glad to be here.
I live in Los Angeles, California, and I've been gaming for close to 13, 14 years now.
I've been playing 40K since 2nd edition, started with a Chaos Marine army and went all over the place from there - I currently maintain a fairly large Tyranid army (Hive Fleet Cthulu) and a growing Ork horde (The Waaaagh of Doktor Orktavius). Got the 448th Vallhallans on ready standby though.
I've been playing fantasy off and on for the last four or five years, started with Vampire Counts and moved on to Bretonnians, which I have a lot of fun with.
I've dabbled in specialist games, but I find Mordheim to be the most enjoyable. What the heck happened to GorkaMorka?
Outside of the GW sphere, I've played a Cryx force in Warmachine, the Soviets in Flames of War, and entirely too many RPGs for my own good. I'm here to chat a bit, lurk a lot, and see some of the fantastic conversions and painting that you people do.
Glad to be here!
Phill
