Whats he like as a writer- any good? I was thinking of strting the word bearers novels- are they good? Would he be at abnett/mitchell/ dembski-bowden level- or lower down

I liked Dark Apostle, but had a hard time getting into Dark Disciple. After I'd gotten through the first chapter the next Abnett book came out and I dropped Dark Disciple like a bad habit. I haven't been back to it or bought Dark Creed yet... they are still on my list of things to read, but low on that list since I have things I have been waiting a long time and looking forward to more.

If you are a fan of chaos, then they are good books. I really enjoyed Dark Creed. If you also have the time to read them, then I recommend them.

Reynolds is about Nick Kyme-level in terms of his writing.

Not great but a tiny bit better than just average.
