A very important question arose from my last nights gaming ;) :

COuld imperial sentinals climb up ruins, so you could get them on the 1st floor of a ruined building

I think no, no matter how much I would have wanted them to... but it would have looked so awesome :D

tippy-toe-clamber, tippy-toe-clamber, wobble, wobble.... crash is a more realistic outcome I think

Trees- definitely not the tree coulnd't support their weight and they'd have no means of gaining purchase. They give jungle world sentinels chainswords to clear a path. It may possibly climb a building if there were some kind of stairs or large ramb or pile of rubble

well in rules terms they can climb buildings, even tho when you see the model theres no way they would risk taking the thing on uneven ground at risk of loosing footing and falling over,

I think GW thinks there like the gekkos out of MGS4 lol

Man I really want to see that happen now XD just imagine the pilots thought process:
"Okay ole' Bettsy it's only one floor sure it's beyond your reach but we can do this, we're the ****ing Imperial Guard"
-horrid screeching metal sound as leg extends past limit-
"****, oh **** oh ****"
-success-
"What the **** holy Golden Throne of Terra we did it! **** YAY SECOND FLOOR HERE WE COME!"

Of course what ever enemy is nearby will likely **** their pants in confusion unless their orks who'll wanna give it a go too only their gonna try it with a warbike.

The book Cadian Blood talks about a sentinel pilot jumping clear of a crowd of <censored for spoilers>. I would imagine it could jump 10ft (3m) up a building or ruins. Of course, there isn't usually space inside a building to use the sentinel.

Hmm this thread reminded me of the scene in Robocop 2 with the ED209 in the stairwell. :)
