I can't help but feel that my intelligence has been insulted by having someone believe the world would be interested in buying this abortion!

White Space Marines.... the Fail is strong with that army.

Not a bad idea if you like Star Wars, but that may have been the worst paint job I have ever seen on an army.

I've actually considered creating a Necron army consisting entirely of Daleks. Or maybe Cybermen.

Our area had a guy whose Imperial Guard Catachans looked like they were wearing bluejeans and white wife-beaters, his sentinels were painted yellow and green like John Deere tractors, and he used green stuff to make a rather weak attempt at putting cowboy hats on his Tallarn Rough Riders. It would have been funny, if the guy wasn't mostly colorblind, and painted worse than a kindergartener. It looked like the poor guy had dunked his models in a pot of tie-dye.

I've actually watched that army try to sell for the better part of a year now, i thought the person would have given up but i would see it while i was looking on eBay a week later, i could see the use of stripping all the paint off and rebuilding it if it was dirt cheap, but it was not. Ebays a weird place, i sold Astroth and 5 assembled but unpainted death company for 5 dollars over retail when the bid went up.......

The picture is lousy, but a white-on-black paint scheme (while very difficult to make look good) can look pretty amazing when it's well done.

Those are bad, but they're OK tabletop quality. Of course NOT worth the price he tries to sell them at.

The Star Wars themed minis are so terribly painted it's heresy.

That is actually quite nice, I like the pose. I wonder where the seller got it and why it was never released?

It never got released cos the prototype model "mysteriously" vanished...until it reappeared on eBay 7 years later :P

Holy hell, those storm tropper Space Marines are painted terribly. Neat idea for a scheme, but terrible execution.

Well, that's like Midgard Models on Ebay. The models aren't badly painted, they're just not great (they're midline tabletop quality is all). But the asking price for them are all Golden Demon level. What makes Midgard truly obnoxious, however, is the account owner spams keywords so heavily. I search on Ebay all the time for Sisters of Battle. Each time, there are thousands of hits, but less than 10% actually have anything to do with what I'm looking for. Everything else are all these unsold, crappy Midgard miniatures, some of which aren't even GW products. I and others have asked Ebay to deal with it, because what Midgard does is a policy violation, but Ebay never does. Fortunately, you can put "-midgard" in your search pattern and it will discard most of the useless trash.

I bought a Sammael model from those guys a while ago. For $120 including shipping I thought it was a bargain. A 17 piece metal model assembled painted and shipped was a bargain at that price. The amount of time it would have taken me to get that model tabletop ready would have been way more than $70 worth after the initial purchase.

On the other hand, so much of their stuff is bad. And so much of it is converted models that aren't even useable because the wargear configuration on the model isn't in the book.

I'll use the -midgard flag from now on Thanks for the tip!

I can't help laughing when I glance at their squashed heads and picture the malformed mess that their helmets conceal.
