I love it when etc etc...
Here is a 2000pt death from above type CSM list, using only models that I have painted up.

Ch lord, term arm.,Tw LC, MoS.
Ch lord, term arm. Tw LC, MoN.

5x Chosen, IoCG, Plasma G, hvy bolter
5x Chosen, IoCG, Plasma G, hvy bolter
5x Chaos term, IoN, reaper, combi weapons x2, chainfist.

8x KB, Champ Pfist. Pers Icon,Rhino
8x KB, Champ Pfist. Pers Icon,Rhino
7x Lesser daemons
7x Lesser daemons

2x obliterators
2x obliterators
2x obliterators

Advice welcome. The idea is that the chosen all infiltrate, using their icons to assist deep striking. The lords each drop with a group of obliterators. I should be able to reserve most stuff. Hopefully the amount of icons will give me increasing tactical possibilities. I'm still a few points under so feel free to help,

I take it that you will be using the Chose's Infiltrate ability to move them closer to the enemy lines. With their Icons they can allow your Terminators, Obliterators, and Lesser daemons to deep strike without scattering (daemons can not come on table unless icon is present anyway, and you get benefit of their ability to ncharge on the turn they deep strike).

The 3 teams of 2 Obliterators is a nice idea. it is not so weak that an enemy has to ignore it, and since there are 3 suads, you can deploy them more flexably to frustrate t your opponent.

Teh 2 squads of Berserkers is a solid nasty troop choice, but being mounted in a rhino, makes them vulnerable to the usual enemy tactic of hit the scoring units with the las cannons (or similar) before they get to the objective. You then have to get there by foot and slug it out. If you can rework points cost, I tend to go with a horde approach to counter this. Horde as in send as many rhinos and smaller squads so that you provide too many targets for their guns to shoot at. As a suggestion 4 squads of 5 CSM with a special weapon and maybe an icon, maybe a Champ with power fist, or power weapon, and a basic rhino to keep cost down.

The teminators can deep strrike with their lord attached, and provide a nasty close combat unit that will distract away from the rhinos and lesser daemons, or kill his biggest threat to your army - tanks, devastators, etc. One of the Termie lords can be dropped with a unit od Obliterators as well. This provides them some protection against enemy close combat elites rushing in and wiping out your expensive unit. Over all it is a sound and very strong army.
