Here's a few pics of the model I painted for Forge World's assault ram, and may be seen as an alternate photo for the assault ram on their website. :) Enjoy!

Very nice indeed!
How did you find the assembly?

My assault ram has some huge gaps where the centre part joins onto the sides, plenty of very warped parts and cracks, pretty impossible to assemble a lot of it without gaps of at least 3-4mm..
For the moment I've left it whilst I try and work out what I'll do to sort it out..

I'm very jealous! Kudos!

@ Archon Really? I thought it was a toned down version of the storm raven. I believe THAT is a little silly. Just my opinion though. :P

@ Fantomex I indeed had many issues assembling this baby. It took much much much filing and shaving to get all the parts to fit the way they did. Even so if you look really closely at the photo's I have you can see where I have about a 1mm gap along the right side. :(

Isn't this the NORM for all FW stuff? :( 100% for the 1/2 dozen items I've bought from them. I used green stuff to fix gaps the best I could.

Most of the models suffer from warpage and other defects... But I guess that's why they call them "Expert Kits"... lol. :P

I had a ton of problems with this one as well. The middle piece just DID NOT want to go on together flush. Lots of finagling was done.

I have an Imperial Lightning, however, that went together really nicely.

My buddy has the Thunderhawk. Said it was the worst kit he's ever built.

Ha, I'd describe it more as "enjoyable torture"..:D

All I have to add to the well-deserved compliments already given is that it is nice to see it done in Sallies colors!
