1500 pts. tournament

I play Necrons and want some advice on a 1500 pts. list for a tournament.

I think your question is rather to general. Do you want advice on tactics or force composition. Are you lucky with dice or like me need volume to get the job done. Are you aggressive or reactive in your gaming.

First step, put a force together, read the details on each unit in it and then work out some tactics based on those characteristics. Find some one to game against. If you lose the games you are more likely to learn. :o

Building a 1500pt Necron Army? Well you need a Lord, 2-3 squads of warriors, a monolith, and at least a squad of heavy destoyers. Once you got that down fill the rest up with immortals or destroyers, or if it suits your tactics wraiths and flayed ones. Make sure you get a warscythe on that necron lord to help against mech. Maybe get a second lord?

The Monolith is going to be the center of all ur tactics, basically deep strike the dang thing onto the objective. It will provide cover to your troops, allow you objective grabs, or get your troops out of bad assaults.
