Space Hulk Brood Lord

Well, I've had this set of Space Hulk minis for over a year now, and I've just had so many projects to paint that they've been on my back list for a while. Ironically, in that time I've painted quite a few Space Hulk sets for other people.

As the first of the Genestealers, I did the Broodlord. He's meant to set the pace for the rest of them, with a color scheme that isn't too close to the official one, but not too far from it either. Anyway, here he is:

I'm probably going to use that dark red on the rest of the terminators, and I don't think it is too far from the official color scheme that they'd have to be called another chapter.

Man the detailing on that mini is amazing and your paintwork really show's the details off superbly.

I really wish I had brought Space Hulk back when the reissued it in 2009 I want those mini's and the damn set can cost over £100 on eBay :(

The Space Hulk minis are all pretty great to paint (they do have some flaws in them, but they're made up for by other aspects).

I'm not really keen on the fact that the game was a limited run. It would have been nice to at least have the possibility of expansion from GW (even if they were just WD expansions like they used to do).
