I'm playing in an escalation league at my FLGS, and the next two weeks are at 1000pts. We're using a modified version of Rules of Engagement that my brother-in-law and another game designer have been working on for a while. (http://www.box.net/shared/9xt3z2pa7a)
I'm thinking this will give me the flexibility and mobility that some of the Rules of Engagment missions call for, as well as enough firepower to take out the common 1000pt threats. Then again, I don't usually play at 1000pts, so I'm posting for suggestions.
