Quick question for you Dark Eldar players out there.

Can you move the Raider full out 24" and then have the unit inside it jump out and assault?

No you can't.

Nope.

Page 70 of the rulebook, under FAST TRANSPORT VEHICLES.

Passengers may not embark onto or disembark from a fast vehicle if it has moved (or is going to move) flat out in that Movement phase.

However, because of the open-topped status of the Raiders/Venoms, you can move 12" and assault, unlike non-open-topped vehicles.

Thanks somerandomdude.
A 30"+ assault seemed really ridiculous even for GW to do but I couldn't find the rule that disallowed it.

DE can still do at least a 26" assault. 12" move, 2" disembark, 6" fleet, and 6" assault. I don't know if they can still get 12" assaults, but you used to be able to break 30" without trouble with DE.

Don't forget the 1" base and the ability to deploy sideways and turn before moving.

To OP,

If you learn anything from this thread it should be the following;

IT IS NOT ABOUT FINDING A RULE THAT DISALLOWS IT. IT IS ABOUT FINDING A RULE THAT ALLOWS IT.

"The rules doesn't say I can't do it" is (almost) never a valid argument.

The rules for 40K tells us what we are allowed to do and we can only do those things that we are expressly allowed to do.
This is very different from the way most laws are written, but it is how almost every game in existence works, RPGs aside.
