Comment, suggestions and criticism's are all welcome; if you think it wont work, tell me what factors you think will come into play? Would like some opinion on the 2x3 Warriors, vs 1x7 or 8 shrikes please.
Mostly i am relying on luck, to get in as many bugs as possible on T2 with the 3+. Its a plan that can go horribly awry, but im willing to risk that. Ive played similar styled lists before and been quiet successful, so this is just a different flavour to the genestealer cult.
305 - Hive Tyrant: Bs/Lw, Brainleech Devourers, Wings, Old Adv, Hive Com
(I know i've invested heavily in the tyrant, but its kind of necessary to make him multipurpose & the list is built around Hive Com.)
230 - 3 Zoans: Pod: Cluster Spines
140 - Doom: Pod: CS
185 - Tervigon: Adrenal, Cataclysm (Outflanks)
50 - 10 Termagants (walk on from the back and sit on the objective i place within a piece of terrain in my DZ)
215 - 3 Warriors: 2xBs, Toxin, Adrenal: Pod: CS
215 - 3 Warriors: 2xBs, Toxin, Adrenal: Pod: CS (undecided on 2x3 or a single big mob of 7 podding in OR 8 BS/Adr Shrikes)
255 - Fex: 2x Brainleech Devourers, Adrenal, Frags, Pod: CS
255 - Fex: 2x Brainleech Dev's, Adr, Frag, Pod: CS
Totals: 1850pts - 15 KP - 6 Pods
Tervigon walks on from the side with most objectives, pooping out troops along the way; Pods will be dropped near most critical targets, fex's near vehicles and Doom/Warriors together beside infantry - hoping Doom will be a fire magnet and save the warriors from being too molested. with Cluster Spines on each pod they should put out a fair bit of hurt on their own, 6 S5 templates and 36 S6 Bs2 shots into infantry is nothing to sneeze at. Zoans may be hampered by psychic defence, so Doom will be used to flush out psychic hoods etc.
The 10 Termi's will just sit in my actual DZ and babysit objectives, hopefully i will be able to tie the opponent up enough so that he cant spare a unit to go and wipe them out...
