Looks great! The only areas for improvement would be a pilot and weaponry (the splinter weapon and missiles).

Looks fantastic so far. Is it all cardboard? When I work with cardboard I tend to end up with a less-than-smooth surface finish (sometimes even quite bobbly). How are you planning on undercoating/painting it?

Yes it's all cardboard. Working on adding some spikey bits and the weapons are on order. I'll think about adding a pilot but for now I'm just going to paint over the canopy glass once it's in place.

holy crap that is cardboard? that is just amazing, even moreso considering the materials, that is a fraking piece of art. I love the work you have done on it, do you plan on using the cardboard to make a mold to make this out of actual resin?

I am not too hooked on copying the variable-wing configuration of the Eldar Nightwing. I think Dark Eldar should have a fixed-wing design, if nothing else purely to differentiate the two. Then again I can't really remember if the illustration in the DE codex shows it with fixed-wing or not, come to think of it. :)

BTW, is there some kind of template. I have used paper templates before, but found them to be rather on the small side even when printed correctly.

Yes I plan on making a tute and will release it along with the Raider I did at the end of last year.

I'm not sure about the resin thing, I dont know if it'll be copyright issues with GW/FW since I incorporated Night Wing design.

As far as the paper template goes I think it depends on the creator. The good thing about them is if it too big or small you can always scale them and rebuild them to suit your needs.
