I have started a Dark Eldar army that I will try to premier at a tournament this Easter.
The theme is a "Dark Carnivale" with a lot of light and bright colours.

I have started this Project log on a couple of other forums as well, and the Venoms where in the competition here also.
Here is a summary of what I have been doing up untill now:

The whole army will be converted

All wonderfully painted. The Venom is unique and awesome, the warriors and Wych are wonderful in the cheques.

But you really sell it with the Conversion work. Those bloodbrides are fantastic and then really well painted. And your Scourge actually looks like a scourge should, not just a warrior with wings. Look forward to seeing the rest of them!

I'm satisfied with the scythes but not completely sure of the legs and heads.
Perhaps they should be more dynamic and moving, perhaps with lighter armour on the legs?
I'm not entirely sure they will fit my Harlequin theme as it is, but at the same time I am quite happy with their look.

I have had loose thoughts of perhaps making masks similar to medieval plague doctors instead.
Something like this:

Any thoughts?

WOW!! I love these conversions! The medieval plague doctor idea is awesome!
I guess you could say this is almost a Harlequin influenced army?

I have wanted to do a Hellion based army but the models, even the cheaper priced sets, are so expensive.
I wanted it to remind me at least of the book and movie "Fight CLub" even though that won't really come across to anyone but myself.

And what parts are the incubi scythes made of? I can't quite tell.

Im not an eldar player, so sorry if this is really obvious, but what did you use for the heads for the Incubi? And more importantly, where could I get some? :p

The heads are from reaver jetbikes.

Loving those scythes, stealing that idea for my thousand sons. I've been looking for some suitable curved plastic weapons for them.

I thinbk the paint job on these will bring them back in line with the harlequin theme.

Tried making long nose faces and plague-masks for the Incubi, but liked the blank masks better and will keep the longer noses for others instead.

The first long nose is for my Baron Sathonyx:

I'm still making progress with my Dark Eldars, but the dead-line for finishing the army before easter is fast approaching.

Seeing as no one else is commenting guess its up to me

These guys are fantastic. The idea and paint scheme is incredible, as is the custom ravager. Simply brilliant!
