Heya all, my name is Rachel, and I've been following the BoLS youtube for about a monthish now, and thought I would come to the site. My friend Jennifer in washington got me interested in playing this game, and after I get out there to washington myself I am planning on building a nid army.

I really cannot wait, I got to play a game with another friend of mine through the Vassal program, and she taught me a little bit about the rules as we went. I liked the game a lot and I really cannot wait to get into the game, get my army painted up, and kick some people's butts...lol

sorry for the late post, i live in utah but i visit ceder falls evey few years to see my aunt and uncle... the only place i have found with any 40k action has been "the core" on 1926 vally park dr. From what i can tell most of the gamers play garage games and there isnt much of a tournament sceen there.

thats it so far, mine is coming along slowly, but im refining my technique and once i see the final product on my prototype first model im going to make my decisions from there. once i have my technique down im going to go nuts and paint a whole bunch.

hey, according to the rules of miniwargamer dave

1) there are girl gamers who play wargames

I will say I prefer the hobby aspect of warhammer over the wargame itself, but they are both epic fun for me. My tyranid army will look so amazing when im done though, ill make people jealous, mwahahha.

Absolutely, there are nine or ten females in my game group, including me.

I'm sure you will make people jealous, if what you've done so far is any indication. Excellent looking hormagaunts. Really fantastic if they are your first models, it took me years to get that good.

yes, that was my first model, i had been planning that and talking to friends on how i was going to do it. I am really pleased with how it is turning out to be honest. I am really excited to start my monstrous creature conversions. My first ones will be my tervigon as well as my tfex, which will take a lot of green stuff and sculpting, so we shall see if my ability with the brush translates over to my sculpting ability.

Thank you for the compliments though, they are really appreciated, i didnt think that hormy would turn out that well.

As for your group, nine to ten women? wow, the guys where you are must be in heaven -giggles-
