Marine Codex Rumors

Lord Vader! All of the codex releases for 2011 will be marine codexes! Even the Aquamarines from second edition are getting a codex!

If there was gong to be one, it shold be Black Templars. Their Codex is about as old as the Necrons and Tau. I heard on another thread on this site that Dark Angelss might also be up for a new codex, but they would need to wait in line with Chaos Space marines, as their codex came out after the chaos one.

The codexes that should be handled first are the Necrons, the Tau, Black Templars, Daemon Hunters, Witch Hunters, then the Chaos Space Marines, possibly Eldar after that. The rest are basiclally up to date with the 5th ED 40K, except maybe the Dark Angels.

I know the sisters codex has been rumoured to be on the back burner until they get the plastic sisters moulds working.

Check the treads on this site. You shold be able to pick more rumours from them.

TastyTasty's neigh unintelligeble set of rumors a few days ago did state (after significant translation) that the "emperor's champion would come again in winter", possibly meaning Black Templar.

Similar to Tau, but quite a few years younger than Necrons, Necrons still have the 3rd edition codex that they were essentially launched with (they had something like 4 units and some WD rules before then). Also I'm pretty sure that the Chaos codex launched after DA and before Orks. Anywho, it looks like Necrons are being updated which is nice because they are have good potential.

Also, Dark Angels are in a worse spot in my opinion than BT, but BT probably have greater sales potential so it looks like they will get the treatment first, oh well, at least they redid DE, I had serious thoughts that they would quietly squat them.

BT and DA I have heard nothing about.
