Now that the year is almost done I was wondering what people thought the most interesting thread on this site was? Its a chance to take a moment out to congratulate others for making bols such an interesting place to visit. Maybe the thread was contentious and debate filled, or funny or filled with brilliant models.
My vote goes out to Machinators Fellblades. Stunning work

Not this one...hahaha Jog on!
Oh OK, Humbug shield to off.
Female Space Marines was amusing, but Aldramelechs Forum Burp, and Goodbye and Good Riddence from Commissar Chris, with resultant poetry, was just ace.

I'm going to agree here. Goodbye and Good Riddance was spectacular, as was FSMs.

The "Quotes that never happened" was very amusing
Goodbye and Good Riddence was a wonderful piece of internet trolling

Was it trolling, flaming, or just some cutting wit and sarcasm?
Actually i hope it was all 3 - a bit of no-holds barred. Perhaps this may be better in the Oubliette to allow us to hold forth on the merits of various threads, and then when people disagree with each others fave's, we can discuss the legitimacy of their parentage...
I stand ready for M'Lord Duke with his red and black ink...
PS
"Send me £300 and I'll burp all you like" or words to that effect - pure comic genius...

I vote for Buffos "45 Games of Dark Eldar".
Why?
People learned actual stuff about things?

I'm backing Buffo's shameless self promotion. Taking a thorough look at the new DE codex had me coming back for more. Plus, we get things like "if you don't like flickerfields, you're re-tawded":D.

Left you a Crissy Present in the Oubliette.......
I vote for the oubliette... Ya, all of it!
I that doesn't work then I vote for the forum burp... It was the only thread in the oubliette I was actually sad to see people stop posting in.

Ps I won't be as crass as to suggest my own thread, but dukes blood angels was epic! (wait, did I just suggest my own thread!?!?)

I'm a big fan of Isotope's new Dark Eldar log, Buffo's 45 games, Machinator's Fellblades of Badassery, and the forum burp... but I think the ultimate was Goodbye and Good Riddance. That was just brilliant.

I have to agree with the Forum Burp & CC's Good Bye threads for sheer amusement.
Buffo's 45 games gets a vote for most in-depth game-related thread I've seen yet.
Hmm...I think I just voted 3 times.
Yup, that's the Chicago way!

1 vote for this:cool:
I might also suggest "sisters of battle rumor thread," 16 pages and 13,000 + views iirc about something that hasn't even been slightly hinted about coming out from gw

Touche... You got me there... I rescind my thread for this prestigious competition for the thread of the year.
All hail, um, er.... "Goodbye and Good Riddence"
Never have I seen a poster, in this case Commissar Chris, seem like such an adult able to converse with other adults in an adult fashion on one forum (a forum dedicated to the Imperial Guard), yet seem like such a retarded man-child with comprehension issues on another.
Judge.. I change my vote!
