Evening BOLS,
Got down to my local store to get some gaming in today. Only one other local showed today so we decided to get a game in.
My list was:

4X Melta, 1X Astropath, 1X Bolt Pistol on Comp Commander

Board was jungle terrain,heavy on terrain, perhaps 30%. lots of area terrain which generated 4+ cover
Game 1:
Spearhead
4 objectives
He had first turn and deployed in his quarter with his troops held back in cover on the objectives. Havocs deployed in cover in firing positions. Land Raider deployed forward.
I deployed with my Leman Russes and Manticore contesting the obj in my quarter. Al Rahem and co in reserve to outflank. Comp Command Sqds and Vets mounted in Vendettas in reserve to outflank.
Roll to seize initiative to fail.
CSM 1:
Land Raider, Daemon Prince moved forward, shot at Leman Russ which missed. Everything else held position.
IG 1:
No action in reserves. LRBTs,Manticore held position and fired. Shooting was ineffective with 1 marine falling to a Manticore missile.
CSM 2:
Land Raider and DP continued rolling forward. Land Raider shot at Manticore was ineffective being blocked by cover save.
IG 2:
Action from the reserves with the three Vendettas entering play. They outflanked with two entering close to the CSM backlines and one entering from the IG backline close to the DP. One command squad jumped out to hit the DP. LRBTs shifted position to shoot at the DP. Shooting phase was effective as the DP was downed from combined fire of the command squad and LRBTs. Vendettas in enemy back area shot up and caused 4 casualties to one Havoc squad which held it's ground.
CSM 3:
Land Raider rolled forward, CSM marines closed on Vendettas to hit with melta, plasma guns. Shooting caused one Vendetta to wreck, leaving the embarked command squad to become vulnerable. The command squad was then killed through CSM shooting. Land Raider shot against Manticore was once again blocked by cover.
IG 3:
Al Rahem and Co outflanked entering play near 2 objectives. Demo Vets airdropped near a bunched up CSM squad in an attempt to use their demo charge. Because of the downed Vendetta, entry space was limited, leaving the Al Ralhem Chimeras bunched up and limiting the amount of shooting brought to bear. CSM Havoc squad was reduced to one member. Demo charge from the vets scattered a full 8" hitting nothing. 2 melta guns hit and killed 2 CSM marines. Shotgun fire killed a 3rd marine. Vets moved into assault and were promptly destroyed by the CSM squad.
CSM 4:
Land Raider closed on the IG home objective and fired at the closest Vendetta, shaking it. CSM squads moved in against Al Rahem's platoon, causing one vehicle to be immobilized and shaking another. Havocs shot at the back armor of the Vendetta closest to them causing it to be shaken. In assault, CSM squads were ineffective against IG vehicles due to their previous movement .
IG 4:
Al Rahem's PLT struggled to leave their entry area due to the local terrain and shaken and immobilized lead vehicles but managed to close on one objective. Comp Command Sqd 2 closed on the Land Raider in the IG back lines. Al Rahem's platoon's shooting was effective causing nearly 20 CSM casualties across various squads. Comp Command Sqd 2 exploded the CSM Land Raider causing 3 casualties to the squad inside who were now in a crater on top of an objective. Further shooting by the Leman Russ and Manticore was ineffective.
CSM 5:
CSM squads moved into position to destroy a Vendetta now contesting their home objective. Additional CSM squads moved in against Al Rahem's PLT. Shooting from CSM squads shook the contesting Vendetta and shook another Al Rahem Chimera. During the assault phase, 1 Al Rahem Chimera had it's multi laser removed and another was stunned.
IG 5:
LRBTs maneuvered to shoot at CSM squad on home objective. Manticore crashed through terrain to contest the objective. Al Rahem PLT consolidated on an objective, holding it with 3 chimeras. Shooting brought the CSM squad on the IG home objective down to 2 marines but still not enough to knock them off.
Game ended after turn 5.
Final OBJ count:
OBJ 1-Contested between CSM squads and Vendetta
OBJ 2-Open, held by no one
OBJ 3- Held by Al Rahem PLT
OBJ 4 -Contested between CSM squad and Manticore
Final Result: IG Victory
Thoughts:
CSM squads even without a mark are still pretty resilient
Manticore was frakking useless. Killed max 6 marines the whole game. Might replace with a Hydra squadron
LRBTs are a decent general purpose tank
AL Rahem's PLT is hard to bring on the board effectively when equipped with 6 tanks.
6 tanks in your enemy's back line can change their game plan very quickly.
Demo Charge scattering more than it's maximum range is BS in my opinion.
