Our gaming group is putting on a Marathon for the Child's Play charity as of midnight. One of our members scratch build a model of the Normandy that will be raffled off around 8pm on Black Friday. You can see the model as well as check us out at our 40k groups website.

Personally I think this would make an awesome counts as model. It's similar in size to a Valkyrie and if there is enough interest we could possibly make some more.

Hur hur Mass Effect is way cooler than BFG.

It's small, man. I expected 1/28th scale! xP

No, jokes aside, cool model.

...you mean 28mm scale. 1/28th is absolutely huge. I think that would be around 3 times normal scale...

So I totally posted the wrong info for the Normandy model. All the practice for breaking boards on my head for the feats of strength section of the marathon must have scattered my brain.

Tonight at 8PM EST this awesome scratch build model made by Revenant Autumn will be auctioned off to help raise money for Childs Play.

You can get in on the action by visiting http://masseffect.g33kwatch.com/

You can also watch and join the chat at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/g33kwatch-tv

Note to participate in the auction you must be in chat at 8PM EST! I apologize for having the wrong info originally but remember every donation is helping children in hospitals across America and every $5 donated gets you an entry for tons of prize raffles!

So far we have raised $8,000 for Childs play, finished Mass Effect in about 26 hours, and done a lot of silly dances which are now on youtube.
