Holiday specials??

Any news on Any GW holiday specials? they do something every year but i have heard of nothing as of yet....

Nothing much in the december white dwarf except some special edition grots (which are pretty funny) and a fantasy empire knights upgrade pack.

No special bundle deals this year like "Brigades" or "Strike Forces", etc. because they didn't sell that well last year. GW is still trying to sell off quite a few remaining such sets from last year, so this year they decided not to create any new army bundles. They didn't want to be sitting on piles of them in their warehouse for a year or more again.

I'd love to see a new SC model for the holiday season, and have it be a limited release, like a GD model or something and do it for Fantasy and 40k, or just bring back a old Specialist games starter set...they won't sit on those for long ;)

GW stores, GW website, perhaps some independents can order one for you. I still see Empire and Orc Brigades all the time in stores. I've seen some on eBay. Here's one on the GW website (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?prodId=prod330002a&rootCatGameStyle=). The 40K bundles from last year were around quite a while, but I haven't seen one in a bit. You might be able to find one here or there in some stores. Keep in mind there were only four bundle deals last December, Space Marines, Orks, Empire and Orcs.

But what do we think the next big 40k release will be and will it be before chrimbo ? I don't know about the GK thing seems kind of pushed now for Q1 ? What do you guys think ?

GK is almost certainly the next codex, but there are a couple of model releases confirmed for early Q1 that might beat them out.
