Chaos Vindicator Linebreaker Squadron

[Brass Scorpion]

This Chaos Vindicator Linebreaker Squadron (http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/157599-Star%20Reavers%20Chaos%20Vindicator%20Linebreaker% 20Squadron.html) bears the trademark colors of the Star Reavers Renegade Legion. The pattern on the siege shields was designed to interconnect visually when the tanks are lined up properly. There is some conversion work on the top of the gun housings using parts from the GW Tank Accessories Sprue, specifically the "comedy and tragedy" daemonic faces on the flanking vehicles and the growing spikes plate on the command tank. This adds a monstrous touch to the vehicles and also provides a daemonically possessed look.

yes they look great and the chaos-star over all bulldozer-blades is a great link for the models.

I'm want to do a chaos vindicator squad for my world eaters with "Caedes Pro Caede Deo" (Blood for the blood god in latin) on the shields. But sadly too low on funds at the moment, maybe X-Mas cash could see it done!

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. When I first posted pics of my Chaos Linebreaker (and GW did also) (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/blogPost.jsp?aId=14300117a) a couple weeks ago there were some immediate complimentary comments from other hobbyists that also said they were "stealing" the idea for use on Imperial tanks with an aquila design. Here's the first one I've seen so far, it was posted on Dakkadakka Gallery:
